Willow the Bunny Lovey - Crochet Pattern

This sweet little bunny lovey is really easy to make and follows the same structure as my other loveys. All that really means is that the head and body are made in one piece, so there's no chance of it coming undone and no seaming for you to do there! The ears are seamed on at the end though, and I embroidered on a little face to finish it off.

Loveys are so fun for me to make, and they take a lot less time than a full plushie normally would. These are especially great gifts for babies or little kids that like to have something to carry around with them. It's just small enough to be easy for little hands to carry, but also big and squishy enough to be a toy they can play with and enjoy! Of course, I would suggest making this in something like an acrylic or cotton yarn so it's really easy to just throw in the wash and not worry about doing anything extra!

The finished lovey is 12 x 12 inches square.

This pattern was really easy to follow. Bunny came out cute. I will definitely make this again for baby shower gifts.

I altered mine to use a different yarn on the blanket than the head, so that the blanket would be softer. I added another row to the blanket too. I also put a decorative tie around the “neck” area so that the connection to the blanket wasn’t as visible. I like how it came out. It’s very easy to personalize this.
